"Whether the weather be fine Or whether the weather be not, Whether the weather be cold Or whether the weather be hot, Well weather the weather Whatever the weather, Whether we like it or not."

Background story: The big empty space was filled with this, but it seemed unnecessary to have it on there now. The main illustration was supposed to take up roughly 50% of the page. I guess I am satisfied with it? But still only as a school assignment; its not something I would have drawn on my own, and still feels a little trite. However, my proff is decidedly sourfaced about digital, and I think I may have won this battle. Long way to go still in changing his mind, but I was thrilled and surprised that he responded so positively.
Had fun with rain effects, haven't done a rain picture in ages. I confess to using mostly warm colors to do the whole thing and then fiddling, I think my teacher worries about all the wrong kind of cheating with digital- the colors would have been hell in real media. My biggest problem is working so damn large, all of the digital stuff I do for him is at 300dpi, and this was printed at 11x8.5 . My desire to prove him wrong is enough to force me through it- probably a good thing to get used to

Project Comment is a project that features the generally obscured and underappreciated artists and their art in regular news articles. Our objective is to recognise deviants who deserve more recognition and to feature deviations with less than 10 original comments.
The 0-5 Comments Issues feature a deviant as well as 3 deviations with less than 5 original comments from a wide selection of art. Please give your time to this article and to write constructive comments so that you make a true difference to the artists featured here.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
